VIETEC is derived from two words,"Vie" from Latin invitare ‘challenge’ and "tec" as a shortened version of technology. Therefore the meaning is "to challenge technology" and in our case we strive to do this without wires.
Vietec Limited was founded to supply consultancy services to organisations wishing to implement wireless voice and data technology solutions such as Wireless Broadband Access based on PTP and P2MP technology from Motorola (formerly Othogon Systems), WLAN installations from Motorola, Bluesocket, Colubris and Aruba, "Real Time" Data Capture solutions from Motorola (formerly Symbol Technologies), VoIP Telephony from major vendors such as Mitel, and Splicecom and IP Security and Surveillance using technology leaders like Mobotix and AxxessID.
Vietec is now recognised as a prominent value added reseller focusing on the successful design, implementation and support of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) services to both the corporate and public sectors of industry.
